Prof. Dr. Yuswar Zainul Basri. He is currently a professor of accounting at the Faculty of Economics Trisakti University, Jakarta. He got his PhD from Trisakti University, Indonesia.

He has published several books, such as The Role of Accounting in Good Corporate Governance and SME Development in Indonesia (LPFE Trisakti, 2005), Keuangan Negara dan Analisis Kebijakan Utang Luar Negeri (Rajawali Pers, 2005).

All praises to Allah SWT upon His Mercy and Blessings. Today, the Islamic Financial industry
has gained wider acceptance and appreciation and has expanded beyond the traditional borders of the Muslim based economics into major industrial economies to become an
integral component of the global financial system.
 
The IBFI will help you and the industry players to gain knowledge from relevant experts and
professionals and it can also become a reference of intellectual capital in the emerging field of Islamic banking, insurance and finance.
   
The IBFI will become a useful reference for further development of Islamic banking and
finance and also promote IBFI Trisakti University as one of  the nation’s university
leaders in teaching Islamic banking, insurance and finance.

region and in international wide. 

Prof. Dr. Sofyan Syafri Harahap. He is currently a professor of accounting at the Faculty of Economics Trisakti University, Jakarta. He got his PhD from University of Adelaide, Australia. He is currently the Executive Director of Islamic Banking and Finance Institute and also the Head of IEF Postgraduate Program, Trisakti Univesity, Indonesia.

He has published in several referred journals among others Indonesia Management & Accounting Research, International Journal of Human Development and Managerial Finance. His papers have also been presented in many international and local conferences. One of his papers is Interrelationship between Zakat, Islamic Bank and the Economy: A theoretical Exploration (Journal of Managerial Finance, 2008). He has published several books, such as Menuju Perumusan Akuntansi Islam (Quantum Prima, 2001), Pengalaman dari Krisis Asia (Quantum Prima, 2003).
